Masters Golf Tournament Inspired Bar Set-Up 2020

Now our Masters' inspired table is set, which you can find here, it's time to style the bar. And I couldn't be more excited to style it underneath my brand new painting from Gina Julian. Gina is based in Nashville, and I've been a fan of her work for years. I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing one for my home to use in our kitchen dining area, and I absolutely love it.

The bar cart that Paige Minear and I used for this shoot is one of my favorite pieces from Serena and Lily. This South Seas Bar Cart usually lives in my dining room, but we moved it into the kitchen/den area so it would be easy for guests to grab a drink and dessert while watching the tournament. Paige made this fabulous lemon topiary for us to use on our dining table, which we just transferred over to the bar for decor (she details how she made it on her blog post found here). We also moved over all the smaller yellow arrangements from the dining table to fill-in the bottom of the cart, and we used one of the napkins from our dining table as a tea-towel on the cart to catch any drips.

Paige found vintage Masters glasses from Cat Studio that are no longer available, but a new version is being pre-sold for the 2020 Masters (whenever it happens this year), and you can purchase them here. The small lemon dish is also vintage, but you can find something similar here. And as for what goes INSIDE the glasses, below is a very easy John Daly recipe for you to use (basically an Arnold Palmer but with vodka added in).For One "John Daly" Cocktail

  • 1/2 c. Prepared Lemon-Flavored Iced Tea

  • 1/2 c. Lemonade

  • 1 1/2 oz. Vodka (We Used Cathead Honey Suckle Vodka)

  • Lemon Wedge or Lemon Slice (Optional)

Last but not least, we added more of our darling Masters Iced Cookies from Summer's Sweet Shop and included these fun Golf Ball Stir Sticks from Acrylic Sticks. I love how happy and inviting this bar cart turned out, and whenever the Masters takes place this year, we will be ready!Photography By: Lele Fain Photography
