Golden Hour Spring Tablescape with Laura Ashley

It's pretty gray outside in Nashville this time of year, so I thought it'd be a good time to brighten up my porch with a pop of yellow. I absolutely adore yellow flowers, so much so, that I chose yellow as the primary accent color for my own wedding. For my second styled table for Laura Ashley, I drew inspiration from their Lady Fern Dijon fabric that immediately caught my eye because well, it's yellow. Just like the blue linens from my first Laura Ashley table, these linens and matching pillows were custom made from the beautiful embroidered fabric. It’s the perfect shade of marigold in my opinion, and immediately brightens up any table. The linen is thick, so it falls beautifully on the table, and would look fabulous as drapes as well. The pillows and tablecloth will be in constant rotation throughout the summer when I entertain. You can source the fabric here, and it comes in several other colorways as well.

I mixed and matched dinner plates and scalloped salad plates from Laura Ashley’s Artisan Collection found here. I’ve owned the rattan chargers for years, and similar options can be found here. I made these place cards myself on Etsy. They were so easy to make and very affordable since I printed them at home! I propped them up on each place setting using a fresh sliced lemon.

As for glassware, I used the same mouth-blown vintage inspired wine glasses and champagne flutes from the blue table. Laura Ashley offers a variety of beverage glass options in this same style, which can be found here. They feel so special, as each piece is mouth-blown, but the beauty is that they are also all dishwasher safe. Easy to style AND easy to clean. The stunning flowers you see are from FLWR shop, and I love that they bring in a touch of pink to in addition to the yellow and green.

I love using fruit as accents on tablescapes as it’s an affordable way to carry out a color scheme or theme. These lemons from Trader Joe’s are a darker shade of yellow which was a perfect match to the tablecloth. I had some ribbon saved from my wedding (so yes, its fourteen years old-ha), that I also used as an accent at each place setting.

I absolutely love how this entire spring tablescape came together with products from Laura Ashley Home. It was so special working with a brand I’ve known since childhood and can now enjoy as an adult. I hope you all feel inspired to create your own cheery tables this spring and to check out everything that Laura Ashley now has to offer!
